Australia – cockles

Hello! It has been along time since we last updated the blog. Now we are in Australia staying with our grandparents. It has been great weather and we have been doing a lot of swimming. We have also been going to school here. It is great fun!

Grandpa taught me how to catch cockles. This is how to do it:

1. Find some wet sand just out of reach of the waves in a sheltered
2. Wiggle your feet into the sand until little bubbles appear
3. Scoop up that area of sand and smooth it out next to your feet
4. Hopefully you will find little cockles in the sand!
